RE: Serious issues with Domino 6.01 upgrade - Windows platform ~Sean Asaboosilylen 10.Apr.03 06:17 PM a Web browser Domino Server 6.0.1Windows 2000
In response to the previous two posts...
We are on Win2k, sp2 because we use an EMC attached storage network that is not compatible with sp3 (per EMC). Can't apply sp3 until EMC upgrades something on their end, per our NT staff.
The hotfix I applied yesterday was actually written by Lotus development for us specifically, as we were the first people to report a crash with this NSD print on the Windows platform. They had seen the same pattern on 390, but this was the first time on Windows (I feel so special!).
We have now had our main mail server down since 9:30am - so far, the cluster member is doing okay handling the failover, but it's pretty tense. Per Lotus, I'm running nupdall -r on the whole mail directory - it's been running now for 5 hours and is about half finished.
One other symptom I'm not sure I mentioned before (maybe I did, I'm a little punch) is that the ODS on the mail files is not changing to 43, no matter how many times and with whatever switches I use. Lotus is puzzling over this one as well, but if anyone else has seen this, I'd love to hear about it.
